Democratic donor Ed Buck has been indicted in connection with a second overdose death at his Los Angeles County home, a report said Wednesday.
The indictment charges Buck with providing methamphetamine to Timothy Dean, who died of an overdose in January 2019 at Buck’s home in West Hollywood, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Buck was previously charged in the overdose death of Gemmel Moore, who died after taking methamphetamine at his home in 2017.
Prosecutors allege Buck ran a drug den in the house and administered methamphetamine to men against their will during sexual encounters.
Moore, who had been living in Texas at the time of his death, was flown out to Los Angeles by Buck.
Buck allegedly injected 10 men with meth against their wishes as they engaged in sex acts with him at his house, according to a criminal complaint. Prosecutors alleged Buck is a “violent, dangerous sexual predator” in the complaint against him.
Buck is a well-known political donor in Los Angeles, who has given money to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and a number of other Democratic and LGBTQ groups.
